In 1912 a booklet of quotations from eminent Nonington parishioners was published. In the front was a brief history of Nonington. It contained some “Brief Notes on Its Church and History” written by the Rev. Sidney Sargent, the then vicar of Nonington. Unfortunately the pictures of the  quotations section are not of a good enough quality to reproduce here.
